Capsules: Take 2 to 3 capsules on an empty stomach, if possible, with spring water or organic fruit juice or take as needed. Do this once a day.
Gel: Take 2-3 tablespoons at once on an empty stomach, if possible, in the morning with spring water or organic fruit juice or take when needed. Do this once a day. Check "how to prepare" tab on how to prepare moss into gel.
Sea moss gel can be taken as is, added to smoothies, tea, soups, home-made ice creams, etc. The gel can also be used as a face mask by simply applying to your face and rinsing with water after 30 minutes (do this 2-3 x a week for best results).
Additionally, ensure adequate hydration by consuming at least 64 oz. of spring water daily.
If your stomach is sensitive and you cannot take the sea moss on an empty stomach. I suggest you take it 1-2 hours after a meal.
*Please be advised: A well-balanced diet is required for maximum effectiveness; otherwise, you'll neutralize the effects or only reap minimal benefits.
- CLEAN: Sea Moss naturally contains sand, salt, pieces of seaweed, and other natural particles from the sea. So, it's important to thoroughly clean your sea moss before going to the next step. To do so, place raw sea moss in a bowl and use spring water (or a clean water source) to go through each piece to rinse and remove any sea particles from your sea moss. Pour water out and repeat this step 2-3 more times until water runs clear.
- SOAK: After cleaning the sea moss, fill bowl with spring water (not tap) for a minimum of 5 hours or overnight. During this step, you can also add fresh lime juice to help neutralize the sea taste. *water should cover sea moss by about 2 inches and make sure bowl is completely covered
- BLEND: After sea moss has soaked for a minimum of 5 hours, add sea moss to a high-speed blender along with more spring water and blend until it forms a gel-like consistency. Transfer to jars and immediately place in the refrigerator. *note that the gel will thicken up a bit after it has been refrigerated for a few hours, but try your best to make sure it pours out smooth and not clumpy. This may require adding a little more water and blending longer.
Keep refrigerated! Stays fresh for 3-4 weeks in fridge. You can also freeze your gel, but make sure to take a few spoonfuls out before freezing to avoid your jar(s) breaking from the gel expanding! Stays fresh in freezer for a few months.
