Uses

1. Astragalus

  • Heart Benefits: Astragalus may help strengthen heart function and improve circulation. It has been used to reduce symptoms of heart failure and improve endurance by supporting the immune system and reducing inflammation.
  • Lung Benefits: It has immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties that can benefit respiratory conditions by supporting lung health and easing symptoms of asthma.

2. Cayenne Pepper

  • Heart Benefits: Cayenne pepper may improve circulation and lower blood pressure. It has a warming effect that increases heart rate, and capsaicin (the active compound) can help reduce cholesterol levels and prevent blood clots.
  • Lung Benefits: The capsaicin in cayenne pepper helps break up and move congested mucus in the lungs, which can benefit people with respiratory issues.

3. Chickweed

  • Heart Benefits: Chickweed has antioxidant properties that may support heart health by reducing inflammation and helping with fat metabolism.
  • Lung Benefits: It is traditionally used to soothe coughs and clear congestion, potentially benefiting conditions like bronchitis and asthma.

4. Elderberry

Directions

  • 1 teaspoon or tablespoon per 8oz cup of spring water.
  • Consume 2-3 cups every day on an empty stomach (if possible) with plenty of spring water or organic fruit juice, or any natural fruit juice.
  • Make sure to keep a well-balanced diet, with adequate exercise for best results or a plant-based diet for maximum results. If your stomach is sensitive and you cannot take herbal tea on an empty stomach. I suggest you drink the tea 1-2 after a meal.
